Excellent conditions for the 3 flight thermal

maximum of 30 minutes flight time. The three highest scores count as the final score.

Of all the flights flown there were six 30 minute flights. Conditions on the day consisted of some good thermal activity interspersed with some vicious periods of sink. Wind speed at the start of the comp was 7 mph and this gradually increased during the competition to over 10mph. The Sky was largely overcast with the sun occasionally shining through.

Events

The Chedworth Club are hosting a scale fly in on Sunday 19th May starting at 10:00am.

It will be the same format as that which we used last October. Each pilot can claim a flying slot where they can fly on their own or invite someone else to fly with them.

Interglide 2013

Interglide will take place on the 3rd - 4th of August 2013.  The flying field is located Near Edgcott, about 7 miles east of Bicester, Oxford and not far from our old field at Marsh Gibbon.
