The flat field duration local record stands at 1 hour 9 minutes for this year by Sqeela with his Electric Shadow. on Minchinhampton common from 150 metre launch.
My AVA did a longer flight but was flown by 4 people 

This is for hand launched, bungee or one short motor run on a flat field without the use of slope lift

Adam holds the HLG record at 12 minutes

The local height record for this year is held Phil 2082 feet attained on Minch

Gloucester MFC New

The rare Barbastelle and greater Horse Shoe bat have been seen near Javaline park next to the flying field, this could halt the building of the incinerator as the heavy toxic smoke emitted would poison the bats.

An evening of full sized glider flying will be arranged with reduced rates, this will take place in May or June

Club Meeting 
The next Club meeting is on Wed 18th July 7.00PM,  a club flying session and fun event, limbo on the slope if  windy or electric on Minchinhampton Common if the wind is light. A decision on the venue will be made 6.00PM 18th June and  published On the SCSA web sight at 6.00PM on  Tuesday 17th

Haresfield was little damp this afternoon, it started with just a few spots but got worse, me and Guy went home early
