Some Photos from Sunday

We had a fly at Fish meadow on Wednesday while the preparations were taking place for the food fair for the jazz  festival; there was plenty of room to land. 

I flew a 1/4 scale Pegase, a French version of the ASW19, that needed a bit more room to land than an F3J machine as there are no flaps
I am trying a system where the wing is given a large angle of attack and the stall stopped by relfexing the ailerons

I am after some wheels for a dolly to launch this model from, it wont go off rough grass.

Monday
Magical conditions on the west facing slope during the afternoon, very little wind and low thermal activity, but some very smooth lift rising from Middleyard

Tuesday
Mostly good lift on Selsley

My Pegase and Bob's Esprit 

Wednesday

I flew at Upton on Severn, there was some strong lift.

Hugh hand launched my Pegase 1/4 scale, Barry flew his Bird of time nearly to a dot, Malcolm has his Supra tamed, but Baz had a tree leap out at his model.

5 & 6		Woodspring Wings Model Aircraft Club Show 2014 5th-6th July 2014 The Woodspring Wings Model Aircraft Show has been a regular fixture on the flying calendar since shortly after the club began in 1989.  It has since grown to be the biggest model aircraft show in the South West, and attracts around 5000 visitors each year.  Held over two days on 5-6 July, the show features all-day model flying displays by some of the country’s top pilots, many traders  and of course food and drink to suit all tastes.
