Computer nerd bit

To get rid of browser choice, go to http://poweradmin.se/blog/2010/03/11/three-ways-to-kill-and-avoid-kb976002-the-microsoft-browser-choice-screen/

I deleted the files and registry entry to get rid of this unwanted program, that was installed by KB976002 update without asking me

Slope/flat

Monday
Selsley was good in the afternoon, although the wind had some east in it the air was good with a steady supply of thermals

Tuesday
Selsley was not good, the wind was coming from the church giving poor slope lift. there was plenty of thermal lift
LECKHAMPTON
Tiger and Christine were there when I arrived plus a couple of 'locals' from the Cheltenham club.

The wind was between NNE and NE and grew in strength to about 20mph onto the same part of the slope shown in the video clip above. The lift was really great and silky smooth.

The big flat open area as shown on the video looked easy to land on. I wouldn't say there was a rotor or too much turbulence but the seemed to be strong lift making it difficult to land gently.

Tiger and I wandered up to the bowl at the end of the ridge, which appears to face East and looks awesome. Not much landing there at the top of the slope but there is a huge flat grazed field behind the slope, which looks great for landing.

Wednesday
Rodborough was good, the wind strong enough to give some slope lift without the turbulence, lots of strong thermal lift

Thursday

I fought my way though the volcanic ash from Eyjafjallajokull to CLD, visibility was down to a few yards but that might be my poor eye sight. My van was covered in a thick layer of dust  and I only washed it last year.
The flying was good, a moderate breeze straight on to the slope with the forecast for NE

Friday
Rodborough
A good afternoon with loads of lift

Saturday
good lift all day on Minchinhampton, not a cloud in the sky or vapor trail

Sunday
Very poor lift on Minchinhampton and Selsley in the morning, my Highlight struggled to stay up. In the afternoon there was some strong thermal lift at Selsley with variable slope lift.
