Indoor flying  
 Starts again in the Autumn; we had a very good season, with only a tiny financial loss paid by the GMFC.
Chris Bishop and Darren worked hard to make this a success, the three slot system worked well but the fixed wing slot was too crowded to allow depron models to flown safely.

Good Friday at Haresfield:
Exactly as forecast, the rain gave way to sunshine and blue skies at 2pm an a part from a 30 second shower we had Haresfield ridge at it's best until the gray closed in at 4pm.
Saturday
good lift at Haresfield until 1.30PM when rain stopped play

A very busy morning, Andy Westgate made an appearance, but disappointed us a little by not bringing any of his superb models.

Events

 BGGC Open Day on Saturday, April 10 starting at 10am

Trial lessons in two-seater gliders over the Cotswolds will be available. There will also be a low-level Hercules transport plane fly-by, static displays and model flying.

The BGGC has cut the cost of flights for the day to £55 from the usual starting price of £69. The club, alongside the B4066 road from Stroud to Dursley, will be open to visitors from 10am. Flying will continue until dusk, weather permitting.

If you are interested in flying, or just want to come along and see please stop in and visit. Any trial lessons that cannot be fitted in on the day will be flown on other days suitable to the visitors.

Giuseppe's Italian Diner will be open for food and refreshments.
