Saturday   Photo of Tony launching his Fauvel I think it's probably supposed to be a Fauvel AV-361.  That was the most popular type according to my book.  Span was 41' 10½", best glide 30:1 at 53 mph.  It first flew in 1960 and over 100 were sold, many in kit form.  That's a horrifying thought - I'm not sure I'd want to fly one even if I knew it had been built by people who knew what they were doing. > John See also http://www.nurflugel.com/Nurflugel/Fauvel/e_AV36.htm
