This venue is open to all with BMFA insurance, spectators welcome.

Photos from the 12th session at  http://www.glos-mfc.co.uk   with a report by  CB
Flying continued in the bar with small helicopters
The dome is heated, but is meant for sports and with a volume of approximately 50,.000 cubic metres it does not get warm, wear something warm

Results

1st    Dave Payne
2nd   Phil the fridge
3rd    Pete Godsell
4th   Andy Duncan
5th = John Bennett, Peter Wolf
7th   Mike Brinkworth
8th   Andy George

Comp held on the the NE slope of Rodborough Common in a sunny but cold breeze.
3 rounds consisting of 3 flyers were held followed by a 4 model final.
Dave Payne had the fastest flight of 1min 20 secs for the 10 leg course.
Phil Fridge flew the 2nd fastest at 1 min 45 secs.
There were a few landings out midway thro` the course but relaunches were allowed.
The usual variable flying conditions seemed to favour those with proper models, although Andy D did fly his Zagi.
Dave Payne used his Calypso, carefully landing it behind the slope by the football field. Phil flew a Prodij and Pete G used his hand launch type Eliminator.
So, congrats to the winners and those who reached the final. Thanks also to all the timers & flaggers.
I just need to find the SCSA Boxing Day Trophy so it can be properly presented to Dave !
