The first comp of 2006 was largely a success up to a point, there were 10 entries but this was reduced to 9 before the start of the comp we had also several helpers so I could run slots of 3 flyers the conditions were not that good with some thin fog and a light wind the first round got underway and was reasonable un eventful as the second round progressed the fog and low cloud conditions gradually got worse until in the last slot myself and Bryan Tucker disappeared into a cloud Bryan managed to fly out but my model refused to re-appear it was found eventually stuck well into the common some distance away fortunately only a destroyed model .
