Report:

The morning did not start too well, it started raining just  after I arrived but it did not last long. By the "sign in" time, it had improved and  the lift was good at times and then poor -  typical for this site. This meant that it would be ok to run a  reasonable cross country.   I set the flags out to make it a bit difficult, but  quite obtainable too, with safety in mind, due to the closeness of the road.
Quite a range of models were used from Pete's Eliminator to Zagis. The comp  started on time and as usual the lift was variable with some competitors finding a load of  lift and others landing out. One casualty was Bill, who on landing out, managed to  hit a small shrub damaging his wing and preventing him from continuing. All except the
Zagi flyers managed to finish and  the eventual winner was  Bryan Tucker with his Dreamer.
