Location: Haresfield Beacon south south west (small) slope low level.

Most flyers opted for Zagi type models. Dave Payne flew a Rickeshe/Adrenalin and Tony Powell an Multiplex Easy Glider.

Two qualifying rounds consisting of 10 legs from start to flagmen along the slope and back.

Mostly 3 flyers per slot. 2 slots flown, both counted to the score for the fly off final selection.

Placings in each slot had priority before timings.

4 flyers in the final over a 20 leg course.

Due to some confusion over 1st & 2nd place timings/clickings , Dave & Mike agreed to refly first two placings over 10 legs with the result as shown.

Fastest fights of the day were Pete Wolf,  57 secs and Dave Payne 58 secs both in the first round.

Phil Fridge: 1st round 3rd place, 1 min. 16 secs,  2nd round 1st place, 60 secs.
